    My dipped has just gone although its H7 on the facelift. Try http://www.aceparts.com/ as they seem to have some good deals. ordered mine yesterday, just waiting for them to arrive

    It's a thing with VX's, use genuine VX bulbs and the problem goes, anything you will buy from the garage etc the VX cars will eat, our personal best for a Vec B blowing a bulb is 32 minutes from fitting to dying.

    That gives me 2nd thoughts about swapping my front dipped to Phillips X-Treme Power bulbs. Do none VX bulbs really go that quick?

    Managed a record for replacing my side light bulbs yesterday - 5 mins to do both!

    So far the Halfords super brilliance have lasted for ages in mine and made quite a difference. Have them for headlights and main beam cos they were on BOGOFF LOL

    'Genuine VX bulbs' are Philips Premium bulbs ... at least in all the cars I know

    Xtreme power and Power2night are known to don't last long;
    the VisionPlus bulbs will ast longer and the Nightguide bulbs (non UK) I have needs replacing after 1,5 year but I drive almost whole the year with lights on

    I've had a 100w Halfords (not blue, tinted or anything else) in my motorbike for nigh on 7 years now. Much more vibration and shaking around than in a car and it's on every time I ride it - still going strong.

    With regards to the extra wattage buring out wiring looms, loads of copper grease on the terminals acts as a heat sink and we haven't caught fire yet

    Touch wood I have not had a single bulb blow yet from new. 2 years old end of September with 31000 miles, and I do my fair share of night driving. Always drive through the night when going over to our Gite in France, much quieter and cheaper too.

    AAMOI Having read about the bulb sensing on here which the veccie has, I assume it puts up some sort of generic warning light up when a bulb blows.... ?

    When a bulb blows its dead clever LOL it will show you a picture of the car in plan view on the display and tell you exactly which bulb has gone !! it's really cool lol

    While on the subject of Bulbs.... is it just me...but does anyone else think that the dipped lights on the facelifts seem quite poor. Headlights are reasonable but the dips could be better.
