    Default Chrome Mirrors - Easy to Fit?

    Are these Chrome mirrors east to fit?

    Just the vaux website says dealer fit only....I sure it's not that hard...

    If its anything like the Astra G ones, you just unclip the existing ones and clip the new ones in..... be careful not to break the clips on the old ones in case you want to go back to standard!

    easy to fit if you do it the right way and not the wrong way like me. DOnt just prise the mirror covers off, as you will snap the 4 mounting clips inside. You have to prise the mirror glass out first, which sits in a ball and cup mounting and will pop off if done carefully. This then exposes the 4 clips that hold the mirror cover on making it easy to push the cover off from the inside.

    to get the mirror off i use a long big bladed screw driver and insert all they way behind the entire length of the glass. then gently prise out the glass. bt gently increasing the pressure it will eventually "pop" out of the ball joint
