Default Springs or a Kit? On an SRi?

I am looking very much of going down the road with the new VXR Suspension for my estate, but took a step back and thought, is it worth going for anythign else?

Is it worth just putting springs on my SRi suspension? Will it make a big difference or not?

Or is the Irmscher kit a big upgrade from the SRi? Or not? I know it is from the Elite?

    Thanks

I honestly think the SRi is setup pretty well in standard guise mate. The ride isn't too harsh and corners reasonably well on good rubber.

I would be tempted if I had an Elite, but not an SRi.

Think the VXR stuff will be expensive has the vxr has continuous damping, sport button sorts the suspension and ecu, steering.

Your pocket maybe better off with some thing like Koni adjustables or similar.

Cheers guys, I fitted the VXR 888 springs to my standard SRi Sachs shocks and it is top notch. Big improvement. Gonna go back down for some different spec dampers sometime, but for now very very happy.

VXR 888 stuff is different to the VXR 2.8T IDS stuff.

I have an '03 plate 2.2 SRI hatch and was wondering if the VXR 888 springs would make much of a diffirence to the ride-height and if its a worth while upgrade? Will they fit straight onto my standard struts and R they very expensive? Any help would B fab! Im relatively new to the Veccy scene but have modded a good few motors in the past! Cheers Greg

Go for a set of Koni springs, on ebay for about £100 delivered. I have them fitted but also have Koni FSD shocks
