    Default Boy racers GRRR

Just been coming home from work along a local A road with a 40 mph limit doing about 42 mph, traffic coming the other way and being followed by a Saxo with Dimma kit arches rubbing the tyres, you know the type, he had his mate in the passenger seat weaving about behind me in an aggressive attempt to make me go faster. when we reached the traffic lights i was at the front and he pulled onto the outside of me and they both started giving me the finger and the "sauce bottle shake".
They really wound me up and when the lights changed i just floored it and totally left him for dead, it felt good to get my own back but now i am thinking dosen't it just make me as bad as them am i a prat too.
opinions please, would you do the same or not rise to it ?

Anyone who knows me, knows that I would do exactly the same and be sitting waiting for them at the next set of lights with a big smile on my face. I prefer doing it to Mercs and Beemers though.

I just smile smugly to myself as the pedal hits the floor, even though mine's not tuned past an induction kit, the old girl still sorts out the boy racers in their toy cars.

I dare say that I am old enough to be their dad, But I too would have booted it and left them of dead, I am wise enough to know two wrong,s don,t make a right, but I would feel better for it though.

I can beat all of you for feeling smug. We've got an unmarked Octavia VRs. Lots of boy-racers try it on with that...until they get a lot of flashing blue lights in their mirrors.

    Oh how we laugth!

    Quality!

Hang-on a minute, I would probably try it on with a vRS as well

My next door neigbour used to be a police driver, one day at 6.00am on my way to work I was doing 40 mph in a 40 mph limit, there were two lanes, then on my right appeared a police car, it made me jump,It was my mate, he waved then put his foot down, so I did the same only I was chasing the police car untill I had to turn off to work. I often wonder what anyone must have thought if they saw us.

    Says who!!

No you wouldn't because that would be entrapment wouldn't it. Mind you, you'd have to prove it first.

    What they just said!

I'd have done exactly the same Dave - pulled off quickly and then really left them for dead once the power went down! Childish maybe, but leaves a little grin on your face! lol
