Default Something Wrong With The Tyre - Can You Tell What?

    Four ****in tyres, all totalled...

Anyone think the missus is running too much camber? Crazy thing is we had a full geometry setup about 9 months ago - as all 4 tyres have gone like this I can only suspect the setup was done by cowboys!!

    Tyres are all 225 / 45 / 17 - would this have caused a problem? (Are they not supposed to be 215 / 50 / 17?)

Credit card is going to be a beating tomorrow

Just checked the receipt and it was July last year when it was done so cannot go back really.

Same place has setup both my Calibra and Omega when both had wishbones that were totally shot. If I knew this before I would not have gone back to them

    Cowboys!

Thing is the tyre centre can just say that you've caught a kerb etc etc since you had the car tracked..

it can be either a tracking or camber issue to make them wear like that.. if you want a quality alignment firm, try looking on www.alignmycar.co.uk

    A little info required...

Where is the excessive wear :
    inside or outside edge
    front or rear
Ideally, list by each tyre, thus NSF / NSR / OSF / OSR

What is the mileage per tyre
What is the make, brand, size of each tyre
What modifications have been made to the suspension

If the wear is just on the rear tyres, have the rear suspension links be checked for wear BEFORE the alignment?
