Thread: sat nav on with out the radio or cd in background?

    Default sat nav on with out the radio or cd in background?

    As title suggests i would like to hear my sat nav lady without the radio or cd in the background,currently i tune the radio in to a blank channel to do it.
    Any help would be appreciated....

    God you can tell i'm tired now!!! lol CD70 IS THE UNIT.
    Thanks for that Duncan,got long drive to France in the morning so left this question a bit last minute.

    I think on the CD70 there is a volume setting for the sat nav above the radio just turn radio down and then you will hear sat nav,

    if you want I have manual in pdf form can send you if it helps

    Cheers mate,well had a breeze through the manual this end and couldn't find it.Mind you i'll take a copy of that PDF file from you.Would be useful to have it on screen.I'll pm you my email.

    Page 11 of the manual mate. press and hold the OI button (mute function). The radio should go off but active navigation will still work. Can't test it. Ain't got the car. lol

    That's right Steve ... however if you have a phone kit or another device that uses the mute in signal the mute setting is lost after a call and you need to re-mute the radio again so I tend to turn it down these days which is fine until you get up to higher speeds when Speed Dependant Volume Control means you can hear it again quietly
