If you have rollers and not buttons on your wheel then it might. But i'm sure the airbag connections are different so no if i'm right.

i'd have to say no to that.. the VXR wheel is for full canbus cars...unless your pushbutton switch panels will fit onto the VXR wheel, and you have the identical airbag connectors it's gonna be far from straight forward...

I beleive chris gettings looked into this type of conversion.. he got quotes of £1800 on the wiring looms alone to make it work

I very much doubt the airbag connections will be the same and even if they are then you would need the facelift airbag aswell.

EDIT - Or what Mark said.

ive fitted a facelift steering wheel to a pre-facelift, you can fit one mate but you will lose the steering control fuctions as your car is half canbus and the facelift is full canbus, but you will have to get an airbag from an early Astra H because they used the single yellow airbag connector which your pre-facelift uses as the vectra facelift airbags are twin connectors

His may also be twin airbag connectors as they were fitted on the Vectra from MY 2003.5, not just to the facelift. Being a 53 it would be very close to that breakpoint.

If he does have the twin airbag connectors then the wheel may fit, but as said he'd need the facelift airbag to fit the wheel and he'd lose the wheel controls as his will definitely be the six button half-CAN and not the Full-CAN scroll wheels.
