Default Heater Fan Blower. Vectra C

Just had a problem on my way home. The fan blower came on by itself and wouldnt switch off when I killed the ignition. I had to pull the fuse. I do have an airbag light on which was caused probably by a car park attendant moving the seat (common problem I believe) when I went on holiday. Could this affect the blower through the ECU? Anybody experienced this before.

Regulator, behind the glovebox, looks like a black box with a heatsink on it.

Not heard of airbag fault by moving the seat, but I can guess it's due to the connector not fully making contact.

I would try disconnecting and then reconnecting the under seat connector a few times and making sure it's well connected and secure. You may want to disconnect the battery and wait a few minutes for any capacitors to discharge before doing this though.

Can't see how the airbag fault is related to the blower not switching off - could be a stuck relay behind the glovebox that operates when the blower on full.

Just managed to get the glove box off. Is it the black box that is attached to the fan casing. Dont see an heat sink anywhere and there is a black box just to the right of the fan casing.

Thats generally where they are located mate, on most cars, maybe they don't have the sink on them anymore, other than that I can't help much, but that is what is causing your problem, get it tech 2'd to confirm.

yeah the air bag light is probably signalling seatbelt pre-tensioner failure. it is a common problem on fords too although on the ford the light flashes a different number of times depending whether its an airbag or pretensioner failure. as mentioned disconnect and reconnect the pretensioner connectors under the seat and that should sort that one out.
