Default Erm I don't think so.

A mere 12 days after the accident the other guy's insurance company has written to offer a hire car and to help with any compensation claims without involving solicitors

Now bearing in mind that I spoke to them two hours after the accident when they knew that their policy holder was at fault and asked them if they wanted to sort the claim directly and was told to **** off I somehow think that this ain't gonna happen.

The 20 grand hire car sitting on the drive for the last ten days might be a sticking point as will be the cost that the accident management company have ready to bill them for to pass the claim to a solicitor. This alone comes to £2400

No wonder insurance is so expensive. Numpties.
