Thanks Thomas1, if you want to have a thread about the health risks of smoking, then please feel free to start one. This thread isn't about that subject.
London City Airport are selling packs of 200 cigs for 35 pence. Just go up to the kiosk and ask for Ali.
There you go.
Delhi airport last night $24 £12.
I'm more used to smokeing the duty free one's than the UK RIP OFF one's, So i get a sore throat off the expensive one's.
They use more salt petre in export one's to give them a longer life and as John says they burn faster.
Salt petre releases oxygen when it's heated - hence why it's used in fireworks.
$24 = expensive, $15 at Mumbai.
You been ripped off old chap.
But buying them at these outside of the UK etc... How can you be sure the "brands" are actually...the "brand" on the packet? (Not laced with smallpox or something!!?? LOL) My mate works for customs, and they find these "brands" packed into ferry's all the time out of Russia and Eastern Europe...
fair comment. I was speaking relatively of course.
At the moment they are £5+ in uk, so paying even £1.20 a pack is a good cost reduction. 80p a pack is even better though
