saab 93ss 2ltr t & 2ltr T wots the difference???

hi peeps , wots the difference between a saab 93 ss turbo 2ltr t and a saab 2ltr T ????( no its not a joke!!!

the reason why i ask is that the 2ltr turbo engines in the vec -c is the same as a saab 93ss t ( i know most of you now that, before you think i'm an idiot)
but wots the difference??
the 93 t has 175hp as standard
the 93 T has 204hp as standard
so wheres the other 29 horses from (and no its not newmarket!!!)

I would guess it's just a re-map mate.

i'm not sure!!! cos bsr who do the remaps do one for the t and one for the T, if its just a remap ,does it mean i can get a 93 T remap for my vec which would give me 247bhp!!!! if i can dont tell any body else

I've just had a look on the Saab website and the 175bhp is a LPT (light pressure turbo), so I would guess the 210bhp is a full pressure turbo.

I think maybe BSR would be your next port of call mate. Ask them outright what the difference is and if yours could be mapped to 247bhp.

My initial thoughts are that there's more to it than just a different turbo. I would think different inlet manifold, turbo, ecu, etc etc etc. It maybe cheaper to just get a Stage 2 or 3 remap from BSR.

cheers mate , am ringing bsr anyway as i,m getting the remap on saturday but i saw another saab site called elkparts and they did the remap to 247 bhp for the same price!!

247 , i do like that number!!!
