Default Can a moth set off the alarm?

Had my alarm go off twice this week for no apparent reason. Tonight it went off & when I went out to the car there was a moth flying around inside (must have opend my wallet.

Can this be the reason the alarm has been going off? Just wondered if anyone else had this before.

it can be. if it upset the internal sensor.. other common faults that upset the alarm are door switches and the battery in the sounder unit failing..

Just looked at your profile to see if you have an estate, OMG that pics not nice Anyway, you do, there seams to be a common problem with the estate alarm. There is a wire running within or on your rear glass (those in the know pls confirm)to cover broken glass. This wire can get damaged and set the alarm off. Have you checked if that is ok? Try setting your alarm with the ultrasonics switched off, if the alarm still goes off your moth is in the clear.
