    Default Painted Calipers

    I have red calipers already but i dont like the shade of red, its too orangey for my liking, just want to know what paint people used, i would like a darkish red, like a blood red.

    I used Hammerite smooth red,looks great and a very deep red imo.....

    thats what i use when i paint red calipers as well.. it stands up to the heat well..

    Think i will be doing this soon. Whats the best way of getting the paint off, when i had black calipers i used a wire brush to get it off

    depends on what you used before.. solvents should be avoided as they could damage the piston boot... normally just sanding down for a key is good enough

    i'd stick to around 320....any more and it could be too coarse for the thin smoothrite to fill well without runs
