Default Ive had enough , it's going !!!!

After just replacing the oil cooler , which was a pain . This morning I took the kids out and the gearbox is playin up now , It failed to change up from first gear and seemed to lose power then the tc light came on and now when you drive there is a strange squeeling almost metal on metal sound which comes and goes.
I have really fallen out with my motor at the moment and I'm sad to say I'm gonna get shut , I really can't b 455ed anymore.

first question....any gearbox fault lights showing?... secondly..have you removed the little green gearbox dipstick to see what colour the trans fluid is??...when you flushed the engines waterways how did you do it?..would the rad have sustained excessive pressure to damage the seal between the trans and water cooler???

Are there any signs of trans fluid ( strawberry milkshake) in the headertank???

I only used a low pressure hose to flush mate , so can't c it bein a seal.
No gloop in the header lol , I had that with the oil cooler the other week.
Gonna chek the atf level and condition , does this sound to you like the fluid could just need topping up ?? please say yes : )

UPDATE - just been to the car again and it seems ok , no lights or anythin .
1 thing I forgot to mention is I was going up a pretty steep hill when it happened , maybe fluid is low ?

it's always worth a fluid change if you hit probs....

First, locate the dipstick and check the condition of the fluid.. it should be a strawberry colour or heading towards black..any hint of strawberry milkshake is bad news..

Measure exactly how much comes out and replace that amount with new..you will never totally drain the box thou as fluid remains in the torque converter..if you want to totally change it you will have to repeat it several times..finally, when you have changed it, start the car and work the selector lever through the postions before returning it to Park.. then check the level again while the engine runs...check for any metallic bits in the fluid you drain out..
