steering wheel audio control not working!!

hi guy i have a vectra c and when i bought it it had a kenwood kvt627dvd head unit hence the steering wheel controls dont work just wondered if any1 nos what i need to get it working the mrs likes the idea of the controls(tut) cheers.

I think you might need Tech2 for this if it's possible. Someone will confirm

simple answer... it is missing the steering wheel control lead into the stereo... try autoleads to see if they do one for the vectra-c compatable with your current Kenwood Head unit..

Just to make this a little more clear...nop no Tech 2 involeved this time, as Mark said you need an "adaptor" to the new head unit so the steering controls work with it
