    Default super unleadead petrol

filled up friday with full tank of super unleaded then over weekend drove over 300 miles the diffirence in performance is really noticable it has lost the flat spot it used to have when pulling away and seems to accelarate better in higher gears main reason for using it was fuel prices have dropped slightly and it was 113.9 per litre so think is sul for me in future

My 2.0T just loves Tesco 99 ron SUL. Can't notice as much of a difference with Shell V-power though.

I use the Tesco 99 ron petrol in both but there's a much more noticeable difference with the 2.0T it loves that petrol.

Unless your engine has a knock sensor, it is unlikely to make any real difference.

    Fuel economy or cost economy??

Independant tests of SUL compared to normal UL has proved them to have no discernable difference.

    2.0T's have a KNOCK sensor

Also tests have been carried out that proved there was greater power with SUL and I know myself fuel economy is much better over UL.

Been running V-power since I bought the car, but might start using Tesco99 and see if it's any better. Have to run SUL with stage 3 anyway.
