    Default Busy old month spending

Well at the start of August i decided to treat myself and the car to a personalised reg mark, A G52EGG. Still yet to get it transferred on to my vehicle.

Then Thursday i decided to pop in to an estate agents and ended up looking around a rather nice repossesed house within 5 miles of my current home with my parents. Today i have ended up buying said house for a nice price with my Girlfriend, next step is deciding on which mortgage .

Just goes to show what can happen in a short space of time i suppose

My friend is a mortgage advisor and told me tracker is good but depends on many factors. I hope you manage to get a mortgage as they are very tight with who they lend to.

That is very true indeed, it is quite hard to get a mortage at the moment; lucky for the ones who are already on the ladder..

Good luck Gregg, you sound very busy indeed; glad to see that everything work for the both of you...

Sounds good. I wish I had 33% deposit saved up.

I sold my flat 2 years ago with the hope of getting a house but stand no chance now of borrowing 5 times salary...still saving hard though.

    Does it need much work?

I love DIY when not pushed to rush it by the girlfriend. Just finished painting a room just now, only did it 2 years ago but she doesn't like the colour anymore. I had the artex ceiling plastered whilst doing it so it looks much better.

Fitting a bathroom is my favourite bit. I find tiling very relaxing.

How long until you get the keys?
