    Default Tick over / idlespeed ? 3.2

I have just had the top half in pieces to change the oil cooler , and after the rebuild everything is ok apart from the idle speed , it seems to hover around 1000rpm sometimes wobbles a little higher then randomly drops down to 750rpm ?
I did have an issue with the idle valve gasket but it is sealed 100% (sealing compound)
Everything is back on and in the right place ( I hope)
Could it be something is clogged with all the milkshake type stuff I had to flush out of the cooling system ?
Help me guys it is doin my box in !!

Could the idle control valve need cleaning, posibly some "gunge" may have got in there and is clogging it up a bit. I had to clean the ICV out on my wifes Vectra B quite offten, untill the valve needed replacing.

Doubt it mate, I cleaned everything meticulously with carb cleaner , so as it stands I'm stumped , maybe if the weather is a bit better tomorrow I will have a look again , maybe take the plenum off again and double check everything - I still have a feeling that something is blocked somewhere , maybe a breather or a warm air pipe to the intake system , after all there has been loads of oil and water mixed together pumped around the cooling system , which resulted in a very unpleasant brown/orange gloop.

So if anyone has any ideas let me know pls

Is the TB all clean mate, such a simple thing to over look. Also are all your vac hoses all air tight and plumbed in?
