I would say not much difference between then both, except that the diesel is cheaper to run...

I might be wrong, I look forward to the hearing the results. I know when I get my car, it will be diesel or an electric car, good on the environment...

    Latest spec on the VXR....

    Power, bhp - 280@5300
    Torque, lb ft - 262@2000-5300

Looks like a good map you have there Chris.

If yours is remapped then the VXR has to be as well for it to be fair IMO.

to be fair then we should take 2 spark plugs out to make it a 2000 cc car

If Chris is a good driver, then he should keep up with a standard VXR round the Nurburgring (up until 120 mph)... suppose we will never know

So 221bhp & 353 lbft... Quite a lot less power than a standard VXR but obviously more torque. Helluva map you got there!

I'd still be tempted to say the VXR would win, Chris - but feel free to make a scientific trip to the 'ring to prove me wrong!

upto 2002 i held a International B licence """no advance driving rubbish for me"" and it was used to and yes iv done a few laps there on bikes but never driving a car also raced at Pembrey Rockingham Cadwell Thruxton and the Isle of Man ""in a side-car"" at the isle of man but i last races in 2001 at Pembrey but iv been to the track just for fun and it was nothing to do with winning

i would love to do a trip over to the ring in a car as iv got one in mind to do it in ,,as i do get to drive the littel play thing every now and again i think id smash the 9min marker or maybe get close to the 8 mins 20 sec or less time for a lap

errrr so i think you could say i can drive
