Default New intelligent lighting fault handling

We all know about the rear side light braking system lighting and the fact that the bottom light is illuminated if the top bulb has blown.

BUT, did anyone know that if a front side light is out, that side front indicator is illuminated at half voltage continuously? If the indicators are then turned on, the light blinks on / off at full voltage, then reverts back to steady half voltage upon cancellation. Found it out last night when the bulb failure icon appeared

    Clever.

    Never knew that.

I guess from a purely electrical point of view it's fairly easy to do. The real shock is that someone at VX had the imagination to come up with the idea in the first place.

That's clever. I suupose the canbus gives control of any light from anywhere. Wonder if you could really mess someone's car up so the windows opened when the headlights were turned on? Or the hazard flashers switched on when you adjusted the mirrors? Should only be a case of fiddling canbus controller addresses...........
