Default A pig in a poke?

How can anyone order a new Insignia when they haven't test drove one?To spend all that money on something you haven't even experienced is beyond me!

It might drive terrible.I've test drove quite a few cars and while they look good i wouldn't buy any of them.I'll be waiting until they are in the dealer showrooms and then try one out.

It's a fair point. I wouldn't pay anything for a car that I hadn't seen in the flesh and driven.

I'd be very reluctant to hand over 25k + for a motor i'd not seen or even driven.

Well, some people don't pay for their new cars I believe the guy who made the other thread about his new order (very nice too!) is getting it as a company car, if I'm not mistaken. That's how it read to me.
I wouldn't pay my own money for a new car I hadn't tried, but it's different when someone else is paying for it

Surprisingly I bought my veccie brand new without having a test drive, the looks and price sold it for me. No regrets other than big depreciation loss. Would definately request test drive on next car however.

Matt is an auditor (I think ) for the Marshall group.

In his position I would do exactly the same so it makes complete sence to me. It also adds a run in pre owned vehicle into the group stock. I would have gone for his last SRi XP II if the local dealer had not found me a black one.
