    Default ChaChaChanges

Swapsy time arrived this week, my mate had been trying to sell this for a while, so I gave him a token gesture and my Wharfedale single din DVD player, here's the evidence

All in all I'm rather pleased with it, it's a China eBay special, but for features it's out of this world, SD card slot and a USB port, I have a jukebox now instead of a lead hanging out the front to connect a player, telephone BTooth, I'm told it's clear as a bell on the other end, it is in the car, plays DivX so no more encoding TV shows I recorded the night before anymore, straight to disc and play, the DVB-T unit works, but only if you are in the right position, don't know how I'm gonna sort this one tbh, I tried a Veba T-Bar one yesterday and it was worse than the mag mount, and also an Alpine Diversity two finger job which also failed to pick up anything, only negatives are, it's got a 480 screen which isn't a resolution able as my other unit was and it gets quite hot after a while, and the zoom function remains on screen when you use it, can't figure out how to get rid of it, it's not timed either, anyway, to buy this lot including postage from eBay is roughly 210 quid, I got it for 30 notes and a 99 quid player I got in the sales.

That's the same hole that appears after about 8 mths of VVing, don't matter what car it is I always wear the mat though in no time at all.

I'd say go for it, there is a newer one for 250 quid that has sat nav on a card and two SD slots so you can have music and directions at the same time, the DVD is great I have 4 films DivX'd on one disc right now, and I reckon I could've got two more at least on it, I'm exploring hooking up a mobile HD to the USB port so I can effectively have a giant jukebox or TV library.

I went for the Clarion one mate.

I have a USB input, will be wanting to try hook up a hard drive too but have not had the chance yet.

Been enjoying my DVDs and Divx

Looks like a nice unit. Does it have a video out ?
If it has why not get a sun visor screen that way you can have a comfy view of it when your takeing a little break.
You can pick them up quite cheap.
