Automatic boot close stopped working!

Hi i have a 56 reg elite estate with the electric boot however it has stopped working!

First it would only shut about a third of the way down and now it does not ever try so i have to close it by hand.

Any ideas as to what this could be?

Have you had vx to ajust the actuator? heard about that fault ealier. where that did the trick.

not yet i'll take it down there and see what they say

i know of one with the same problem.. only neede ajustment then it worked again.

Just been out in the car and its working again after almost a week of not working. Maybe there is a loose connection?

(but i would love to have the openning af closing via a button)

Mine is exactly the same, (07) is this fault covered by any warranty or is it in the service schedule as my car is due for its 2nd service now?
