Default Adding a sub and amp to factory headunit

Hi i have a 2004 vectra 2.0t sri, i want bass, but i don't know how? because i dn't want to change my factory headunit (siemens vdo cdr2005).

I have heard about low level output converters, but do they work and do they effect quality of sound, i.e interferance, distortion etc, and do the cheap ones sold on ebay for £10 £20 do the job. And how do i fit it, is it simple,

I want to fit a sony xplode sub 200w with built in amp, i think it might have a low level output converter built in too, but ill try to post pics of this, plus is the best place to connect the remote wire in the boot.

Please some1 help, because i wanna feel my car vibrate by the weekend. Thanks, ill appreciate youre help.

The cheap ones are pants mate, you want a line driver, they have there own power input. With one of these you can run a sub on its own or run a sub plus a separate amp to power all the door speakers while still keeping volume control at the HU.
