Default Feeding wires from engine bay to interior - driver side

    Hi guys,

Is there anywhere for wires to be fed into the car on the driver side. I need to feed some wiring through for my gauges.

    Thanks.

http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread...5837#post65837 - explains it in words. if you need pics let me know.

Basically you remove the wipers and the wind/water deflector. On the drivers side, you'll just be able to see a grommet to the far side of where all the linkage etc. is. Pop the grommet out, push a hole through it and you can feed the wiring through it. On the cabin side you'll need to remove the trim under the steering wheel and then you'll be able to pull the cable through to tap off your power feeds. If you want to make it easier to feed cables up to the dash by the side of the A pillar trim, remove the pillar trim and also the cover on the side of the dash - the bit you see when you open the door - and you'll see that you then have gaps to help you feed cables up.

Yep, just gently prise up the little plastic tab that says 'Airbag' on it (don't worry, there's no airbag behind it - that simply identifies that the car has a side-curtain airbag) and then pull it out as far as it will without pulling it off. That unlocks the clip that holds it in place, then just pull the trim off. There will still be a one or two retaining clips so it needs a bit of a tug, but there aren't any more locking clips.
