    Default towing mirrors

    Hello..

Can anyone recommend a vibration free towing mirror for the vectra c....I am using milenco grand aeros and find that they vibrate quite a lot and dont protrude out far enough to improve the rear view.

    Cheers

I tried 2 or 3 types mirrors when we had our Quasar524 van, but my favourites were the stick on type with the large sucker that attached direct to your car mirror, called suckit and see or something like that..LOL. Never caused any problems to the long term integrity of the electric mirrors. Only thing I would suggest with these mirrors is that you dont use the safety loop that goes around the throat of the car mirror which is supposed to prevent you losing the van mirror in the event it became unstuck. Best to lose the mirror than have it drop down into the side of your door which may cause possible damage to the panel. As long as the glass is clean it will never become detached. Never had any problems with vibration and I never had one fall off during well over 10k of pulling the van last year which included a run down to Italy. I no longer have the van as quite simply when I weighed it all up it was not financially viable, and I'm getting too old even though I had a mover fitted, it was not worth all the hassle.

Vauxhall mirrors are well OTT on price at £130.00 per pair, so might give the suck its a go.
