Default Anyone else got a snake?

Just kinda curious, I have wanted a snake for what seems like ever (well, since I was about 16, now 30) and finally bought a lovely little corn snake a few weeks ago. Even my first tattoo was a snake..
Awsome pet, relaxes me when I play with it, and the biggest plus, I aint allergic to it ( got bad asthma around my dog and any other furry animal)

Should grow to some 4 or 5 foot (have been known to hit 7 in extreme cases), but for now is about 12" and around the width of my little finger at most.

Since this pic (2-3 weeks old) he has grown ALOT. But still looks like a colourful worm, lol

Really want a royal python, but I think I'll wait........a bit.....

Used to have a Garter Snake when young, but never really took to snakes in a big way... used to have terrapins as well

Friend of mine has a menagerie of snakes, spiders and lizards. I like the corn snake though, really nice to look at and holding a snake is something you just can't describe

Karl he is a nice snake, love his markings and the name
Just make sure you get a bigger tank once he's grown lol,
otherwise you might find him curled up asleep on your bed

We have a Corn Snake and a King Snake. The corn snake is about 3 feet long and very friendly. The king snake is a vicious little bu99er. Both of ours are about 15 years old, and they can live up to 25 apparently!!

    King Snake doing lunch!!!

(to clarify.. the snake is eating a DEAD mouse, bought frozen from my local pet shop)
