If you're considering paying anything in this ballpark:

    HH113E Headlight Conversion Kit - H7 PAIR £486.72

    ...then OMG.

You don't need to be shelling out that sort of money for a good quality kit - try these instead. They claim to make the best quality products and fitted this exact kit to my wife's Signum last week and have had no complaints - and they're on sale at the moment:

Here's my only pic of them (sorry it's not a night time shot):

As for color temp - yes, go for 5000k - maximum light even if it is at the expense of not having a blue tint and thus showing off that you have expensive lights.

    Default xenon light conversion

Hiya Thomas i was just reading about your xenon light conversion and i was wondering how easy you found it to fit, i.e. did you have to drill bits, cut bits, hard wire cables etc and also did you have to remove things such as the entire headlight unit to fit the kit?

    Many Thanks - Graham

    Full canbus by any chance?

I retro fitted xenons to my old veccy. Never again. Exact same symptoms as you and quite a few others that have been on here.

PIAA are the best. Full Stop.

Had PIAAs on a few cars (spot lights that is) and they always worked better than anything else I tried (even my 8" Cibie Oscars!)

VERY high quality product, you get what you pay for.

I disagree re. PIAA...I fitted their 400/500Hz "sports" horn to replace a weedy sounding one on a Zafira the wife used to own and within 6 months the contacts for the power supply had corroded to bits. Bought an identical unit to replace it, same thing again.
