    Default Car Choice

Hi, i recently bought a 02 vectra club but had to be refunded the money as it had a dash board problem no one could fix.
Im just wondering what would be the best bet for me to do now?
I really like vectras but i dont fancy buying another one and the same happening, would it be more worth while buying a 04/05 vectra with higher mileage rather than a 02/03 with lower?
I heard from someone who worked at vauxhalls that the early vectra C's had tonnes of problems but were fixed around 04.
I have about £3500 to spend,

Recently looking ive found a ex rep car with 95000 motorway miles its a 05 club its in pretty good nick to hes asking for £3400 for it.
Are the vauxhall engines as reliable as people say?
Also ive just turned 19 so cant really get insured on anything over a 1.8

    Any recommendations would be great

    Thanks Justin

Have you looked at the 120 CDTi. For £65 you can make these things pull like a train.

I have an '03 club with 65k on it now.
I have enjoyed owning the car (I have had it just over 2 years, 21k), though I have had some niggles.
Front springs broke; New water pump; Steering rack is leaking slightly and one of the steering arms will need replaced sometime soon, according to the dealer. And I can't stand the indicators.
However, it is a good car, especially for motorway. 1.8 has enough power for me, and economical for big car. Club spec fine, especially on the earlier models. Not crap at all.
Hope this gives you an idea about owning an older Vectra-C.

I don't feel I am biased (seriously) but this is news to me.
