    Default front de-mister thingy

My sri has a button near the heater dial, that when pressed, blasts the front window with air, but this does not seem to be any better or powerful than just whapping the fan up full. Am i missing something?

Mine is more powerful than number 4 mate. It might also engage the A/C.

I find this function useless. I never use it. Ford's quickclear windscreen is much better IMO.

Pressing the button does not switch on A/C, only blower to full and directs up screen. No more, no less. Try it yourself by manually selecting up screen and full blower, then press the button = no change at all.

Easy one touch operation, that's all. I like it to be honest.

Me too. First time I used it was in A Vectra Hire car and I've liked it ever since. One button to clear the screen (well two if you add the AC button) is a nice feature.
