Can any body that has the vxr rear skirt fitted and has changed from the standard insert/valance to the vxr one give me an idea as to how they did it..
Its just that i need to remove mine, for reasons i will reveal at a later time...

Think once its on its on,no hang on someone's done it......
Simon1 has done it,might be worth dropping him a pm........
I fitted Spoons old VXR insert from the vxrd after he had the 888 touring car one fitted, all the clips had been cut off & it was a real ball-ache, I ripped the original out with ease but had to cut new tabs & soften the insert with a heat gun, took about 3 hours before I manged to pop it into place & had very sore fingers. Its only held in place by the VXR extension on the bumper & two cable ties, although you can't tell & its never moved since fitted
Fitting it is very easy. It's only difficult if your bumper has the extra apron round it (xp kit). If it's an xp then be prepared for a wrestling match as they are a sod to get in place (square peg in a round hole springs to mind !) but they will go in..........eventually !
Mine took about 45 mins, 3 blankets on the lawn to stop it getting scratched and the missus to hold the other end just to get the insert into the bumper, oh ! and 500 swear words a minute !
Have consideration for the deaf, if you're gunna fart, make it smell !
