Another tent question.

Which tent did you go for in the end Steve?

It's a Coleman Evolva. Bought it at a local exhibition put on by one of the outdoor Superstores.

It's modular so in reality we'll only need the main tent for weekends. We bought the whole package though in case we get the bug and start doing a few weekends away so that added two extra bedrooms which means that it will sleep nine.

It is ****** huge though. It just didn't look it parked next to the 6 to 12 tents it was set up next to in the field.

Try giving the outside a coating of fenwicks tent and awning waterproofing spray, you'll get it from Millets or Blacks or somewhere like that.

worked great with our tent, and we now use it on our awning.

No tent is ever completely waterproof, especially at the seems. It is something to do with the tension on the stitching. Get some waterproof spray and spray on affected area, that should sort it
