    Eek Help! Opinions needed please!

I've posted some pics of the Signum lowered and with the old alloys in this thread. I've had them on about a week now to try and get the feel of them again.

But... I'm really not convinced I like them any more

They looked great (IMO) on the silver vec with the full bodykit, but I think they're maybe just a bit too much now. Plus, I seriously think that the difference in handling vs loss of ride quality going from 17" to 19" isn't worth it.

So.... I'd like as many answers as possible please...
    • What do you think of these alloys on this car?

And, to save starting another thread, please please please can you post up pictures of dark blue cars with different alloys, the more the better! I've got an idea in my head of what will look good, but photoshop is no substitute for real pics.

    TIA

    Mate,

I agree with you. They looked awesome on the Veccy. Not sure at all on the Signum.

Think you've hit the nail on the head. It's the body kit that did it. Perfect match.
Maybe with skirts etc. they would look more at home?

    Paul,

just been thinking about this when making a cuppa.

The best wheels I've seen on a Signum without all the Irmscher kit on are the ones Duncan has. They really suit the car.

The ones on mine look OK too. I've seen them on A Signum somewhere but can't recall where.

    Both are 18"

TBH, they're the wheels I'd got in my head - I think I could get the ride quality I want with 18's on 45 profile tyres, and although I quite like the original 17's, they don't do justice to the discs and calipers (which I really like to see) because there aren't enough gaps between the spokes.

I've been looking and looking at other cars since I changed the wheels over, and I think that's what i need - more than the original 5 spokes but less than the 357 or so I've got on now

These 19's may be up for sale very soon...

TBH the thought had crossed my mind when I saw the other wheels on Cabby's car last week. But... I really think the ride is too hard on 19's, if I'm going to change them I think it will be 18's this time. I live in a speed bump regeneration zone (or it seems like it) and it's so much worse.

I'm thinking gunmetal coloured rather than silver wheels though... Would that work?
