Default What will be your next car etc?

    As above really.

    1. What car are you planning on getting next?
    2. When are you planning on changing the car?
    3. How long have you owned your present car?

That makes me sound really nosey doesn't it?

    I'll start then -

    1. I'll be changing my car in Nov 2007. Well the wife will be getting the car.
    2. I'm really liking the new Audi A4 TDi's SE sport (S line models)
    3. I've had my car for just over a year (which is good for me)

I wont be changing for 3 or 4 years yet, unless something i really fancy comes up and i can think of a new and unused 'reason' why we 'need' to get the new car.

If its 3 or 4 years, and the VXR vectras are still being produced, then probably plump for a 10 month old VXR. If not i'll have a look around and it depends if im still into car shows etc.

Ive had my Elite for 5 months now and had my previous C sri for 18 months.

I want the new Diesel Vectra VXR when it comes out....

    Or, if I'm rich enough

BMW 3.0 Sport with all the toys on it..

    Alex,

We have an Audi A4 S line 2.0 tdi which I've driven many times & it's a beautiful car but:-

The ride is extremely hard, making it a bit jarring & it doesn't handle that good on rough roads (all of them then lol).

The vec is slightly more refined at speed & eats the miles better (I think due to the above)

The Audi's power spins up slightly quicker but runs out sooner as well.

The driving experience is very similar to the vec, I swap between them & the feel in the two cars is the same.

The question is then - why spend more on the Audi if it's so similar?

I see you're point and maybe something else will catch my eye late 2007, but at the moment I love the aggressive stance of the Audi's

Yes mate, the styling looks wicked doesn't it?

Ours is on 18's as well & the car is a smokey grey with tints, can't argue with the looks - awesome.

I'll take a pic later if I get chance.

    Sorry BTW

    now lol
