    Default Tuning advice needed

    Hiya all,

I have just picked up a prefacelift 2005 signum 1.9cdti 150 bhp and feel i would like to bump the performance up as i have come from a 2.4 jtd alfa with 175bhp.

However i dont want to spend a fortune but would like around the 175-180bhp with some more torque.

Ive read about the Caterman box on the site but iam unsure of were to buy and if these are that good?

    Help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

They are available from e-bay for about £70. They are the best buy for the money. There was a thread on here very recently with the links and info you need

Took 5-10 minutes after reading the guide on here briefly. The difference is noticeable immediately and very slightly improves over the next week or so after fitting. Just make sure you let the engine warm up and cool off properly to try and help avoid any possible problems further down the line.

If you feel flush, the DTUK Green box is pretty awesome, I had one before the remap, gave me 185hp/319lb-ft at the WHEEL on factory setting. That's just over 200hp. Gave me about 5% better fuel economy too.

Plus its pretty much the same as the t-tuning box but a whole lot more expensive. Get the caterman one, then save up for a remap. Both the caterman and DTUK boxes give similar results, just one is a whole lot cheaper!

The one's i posted up earlier is the "Caterman box" Named after Caterman on here who first used it.

It smooths out the lowdown lag and gives more torque. I recommend it highly for the price. I notice the price has gone up slightly from when i got mine 1 1/2 year ago.
You should see about 190ish BHP
5 min job to fit, just plug and PLAY
