Default General Motors - Vectra Warranty Extension

    Hi All,

When I purchased our Vectra from www.mh2k.com they told me that General Motors do a warranty extension, but it is branded as something other than GM.

Anyone have any clues as to the name of the company?

    Ta.

Network Q only available on Network Q verhicles thru VX dealer network.

Sureguard is the Extended warranttee (too many "T" and "R" in there I think) and can be purchased on any VX up to 1 year old - once past the birthday they will not sell. Details on the VX web site. Well worth getting!

    "Your only obligation
All we ask is that your vehicle is always maintained in good condition, by a Vauxhall dealer in full accordance with the service recommendations of General Motors UK Ltd"

VX servicing is expensive so it will cost alot more than the advertised price when you take that into account

"Expensive" is in the eye of the payer and also apparently down to the dealer. My Veccy B GSi was cheaper than my previous Pug 306 STDT to service over its life and my daughter's Corsa has just come back from the dealer with a bill of less than £150 for its 3rd birthday service, MOT and leak resolution (no cost as under Sureguard of course). Average service cost over the life of our longer owned vehicles (i.e between 6 and 12 years all owned from new or nearly new and only ever VX dealer serviced) is below £90 per service including the Cam Belt change services. Either we are very lucky OR expensive dealer servicing is an urban myth.
