How do i remove the stereo fascia for painting?

I'm wanting to paint some of the panels on the centre console of my 08 vectra in gloss black similar to the piano black found in the astras etc. I've already done the steering wheel panels/ controls, but need to know how to remove the panels from the center console (including gear surround) and the CD70 head unit.

Any ideas??

I'm liking your thinking on this as there are loads of Piano Black steering wheel bits on ebay of late.

It'll have to be one heck of a paint job though to get that flawless deep black shine.
