Leaking oil from filler cap..

Anyone got the problem as i have with a leaking oil filler cap collecting in a pool of oil shown in pic,got hold of a cistern coupling washer from b&q for £1. 80 placed it round the cap ..perfect fit and hey presto ..no more oil leaks

i had same problem on my dti, so i bought a new filler cap.......still leaks have you got the exact details of the rubber ring mate?

I can measure it m8 find exact size..but went to b&q in the plumbing section and it is actually a washer used to seal toilet cistern coupling pipes,if you have b&q near you,you'll see it in there.

Superb, I'm constantly wiping the oil off the mentioned area. I'll pop to B&Q and purchase the washer.
