    Default rear piston wind back

    rear piston turns but not winding back,do I need to disconnect hANDBRAKE CABLE? open bleed nipple? or am i missing something

    How are you turning the piston?? are you using a piston re-wind tool as you need to turn the piston AND push it back at the same time.

    many thanks, Turning piston clockwise with piston tool all turns but does not go back in , any ideas?

    Its a swine of a job if you dont use the correct tool.

    I didnt have the correct tool and it took a few attempts.

    You have to turn it while pusshing it, relese the bleed nipple to help relieve the presure, you will loose a lot of fluid so I would make sure you can top it up.

    I got the impresion that the thred is very fine and it felt as though if your pads were quite low then it comes off the thred that why you have to push it and turn it to find the thred once found its easy.
