    Default CD70 vs DVD90

    Hi All,

Does anyone know what advantages a DVD90 has over the CD70 other than the fact that it is DVD and probably holds all European maps on one DVD?

    Thanks

Technically they are the same; the DVD90 works with a DVD with most of Europe on it. For some countries you still need a map CD. And the DVD has the Marco Polo travel guide for some countries. There are no other differences, except that the CD70 can be fitted with a GID and the DVD90 is always with the color display: the back (connectors) of the DVD90 is exactly the same (the front too, except DVD up and CD down)

if you have already the CID... it would say: unpair the CD70; swap the units; pair the DVD90 - all cables and connections are the same.

    good question
no, like kenp wrote 4.7 GB info instead of 700MB on one disc, so most of Europe on one disc and the travel guide with among others, hotels with their phone numbers...

    Question

Does anyone know if the DVD90 can read WMA files on a CD as well or if it is only MP3?
