Default Misfire on CDTI SRI 1.9

    Hi all

Got the car back today after getting the airbag wiring looms fixed that were causing my Airbag light to be on...anyways after he'd finished he noticed the car has a misfire when revving the car. The car does seem to vibrate a little more than it did when around the 2k revs mark although the car drives fine and no lights on my dash??

Any Idea's and if it is a misfire what do I do???

Get it checked mate, it could be a few things such as an injector.

CDTi injectors are not even close to cheap.

Vx do a repair kit about £10 for each injector. But they need to be spliced in.
Basically if you remove the top engine cover, just a sharp tug, its held on by 4 rubber bungs.
Running L to R nearest you, you will see 4 electrical plugs, these are the feeds to the injectors.
I think Vx list 1.5hrs per injector as labour. So about £150 at a dealers, perhaps try a Vx specialist if you are not a dab hand with electrics.

    Hope this helps
