All I know is it came from an 03 GSi.
So whats the proper name for them and what are they worth used?

Hmm, Tech 2 it wasnt But I do have the matching radio head unit.
So does that mean it will still work if fitted as a pair?
I know mine did (CD30) as I used both parts without Tech 2 but that was for a later donor 06 car?

its the old radio wicht isnt "pair" with screen (probaly a cdr2005 that was in the car), and that only need the code from carpass..

i know the "new" with cd30 and screen will work as a pair.. dont know for sure with the "old" one.

i know even my aftermarket stereo doesnt work if my screen is unplugged!! so i wouldnt have thought its paired up to an original stereo. i think if you already have one of these and its broke its just a straight swap i think
