    Default op-com software version for 1.9 CDTI

    I have OP-COM usb cable and OPCOM software version 070209, but don't read ECU of engine 1.9 CDTI, so I suppose to need new verion 070910 as indicate in http://www.vezerdiagnosztika.hu/OP-COM-ChangeLog.pdf

    Could someone help me ??? PLEASE

    I bought cable from EBay but I don't know if the seller was "authorized"!!

    Not sure if it's free, or not. Try it and see.

    That's the problem with buying on ebay, it costs less, but you don't get the lifetime support and free software updates.

    u need the proper lead which is a k-line multiplexor device just a usb lead to the car socket wont work!

    sorry but I haven't understood why usb doesn't work?
    consider if I'd like only read DTC alarm and not pragrammin
    please could you explain better?

    OP-COM/Vaux-com is designed to work using a special plug which goes into the Diagnostics port. Inbuilt to it is a switcher which switches between the different pins to read the different systems. It also needs to support canbus too. I am thinking that even at the most basic your software should read the engine of the 1.9cdti without a problem.. Can you post a picture up of the lead you have for me to have a look at?

    consider that inside of the cable thera are different power realy that connect different pins, on this ebay link there are pitures and description of my cable:
