The price should fall at the pumps once the pumps contain the oil which was produced at a cheaper rate........but who knows how long that will take

Good point. I'd imagine there is quite a bit of oil at the refineries in storage. By the time it's at the forecourts, the crude oil price might go up again
Complicated... I suppose that is why they can't pass on massive savings to us drivers immediately, and have to price it carefully.

I was listening to the radio in the car a few weeks back, and all the posse were talking about holidays. One had just come back from 3 weeks in the middle east (didn't catch which part). Whilst they were there they hired a Hummer and used a full tank in just over a day. When they filled it up (80 litres), it cost them the equivalent of........£9.00

Is it that cheap in the middle east

It's cheaper again in Venezuela, but they supply all their own. Still, they only pay about 10p a gallon http://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/...n_id=rss_daily

didn't say I was happy about paying £120.9 just surprised to see it fall by 10-12 p in short time which is not usually the case,does make a big difference to me as at the mo I'm putting about £400 a month in the old siggy and that was about £325 this time last year!
