Please Help Just Got In The Car After Work And When I Turned The Ignition On A Car With The Spanner Light Came On And When I Tried To Start It It Wouldnt Start. It Started On The 2nd Attempt And The Spanner Light Didnt Come On However It Has Lost Loads Of Power And When I Put My Foot Down It Takes Ages Through The Revs And Wont Go Above 4000 Rpm Its A 1.8 Z18xe Sxi 41000 On The Clock Also Have Emission Light On Aswell

sounds something it quite wrong with the emissions side of things need to get to a garage asap

It sounds like your car has gone into limp home mode which is usually started by the ECU due to a fault with the emission side of things. It needs to be put on the laptop.

cheers guys took it too the dealers and booked it for friday this is the 4th time now so i said i want a tech test free as they keep telling me all is ok. today it has been sweet as a nut still quite slugish but im putting it down to as im used to it i also put my sports panel filter back on and took the piper cross cone filter off drive better ive noticed
