    Default removing polish/wax from plastic trim

    hi all as above whats the best thing to get rid of it? im not too careful when waxing and some parts cant help but to get some on the plastic tia

    It's the polish thats a pain. Use smooth penut butter. You will be amazed

    I use walnut oil. In fact I just did mine today. Did a tester a couple of weeks ago to see if it just masked the white stain but it didnt come back even with a good wash, so today went round the hole car.

    I find that vegetable oil works too. That is what I use.

    Sun tan oil the spray on kind (aka) ambre solair is good as is windolene is very good for getting into those awkward little nooks and cranees .

    Sun Tan Lotion. DO NOT get sun tan lotion on the plastic trim by the consol where the gear stick is. It WILL remove the surface layer of the plastic. We had a member who had sun tan lotion on his legs and they touched the area by the centre consol, and the covering peeled off, so do be carefull if you use you motor if you have sun tan lotion/cream on!!.
