I haven't a clue on costs of repair from Vx, but I'll have a cheeky guess anyway. £200.

I would get a guote from one of the mobile guys as well mate, like chipsaway etc. You have to sort the bracket out yourself, but they'd sort the dent etc.

    Beaut colour BTW.

It depends if you go through insurance or not...

If you do, they'll take the bumper off and spray it, costing about £200-£250, you'll get your bonnet repaired and painted, another £200 odd, and a new headlamp (not sure how much they are). All in all about £500-£600 worth.

If she wants to pay for it, call in someone who can do what are called SMARTrepairs (Small to Medium Area Repair Techniques). It'll cost about £50-£70 for the damaged area of the bumper to be fixed. You can get the dent knocked out for about £50-£70, and whatever new headlamp brackets cost. £200 max, at a guess.

That bumper looks creased, so needs replacing... an impact of any more than 2mph will deform a bumper (this is to do with it being pedestrian friendly!!), also the dent in the bonnet will mean a new bonnet. Plus a new headlamp.... I think you're looking at about £800 including painting and labour.

(I've based this on £400 for a new rear bumper when someone dinked my Astra G, plus £350 for my mate to replace the bonnet on his Astra Coupe when it had a dent in a similar place... plus the headlamp!)

I'd say total cost to insurer - labour say 20nhrs * 65ph = 1300, plus paint = 100, plus brackets and odds and sods say 250, total = 1650 all in
