    Slide the seat all the way forward and at the bottom of the seatbelt it's bolted to the base of the seat. It's a Torx bolt but i'm not sure of the size.
    If you are removeing the seat don't forget their is a airbag plug under the seat to disconect.

    No but the seats have airbag sensor's. I presume if nobody is sitting in the seat the side curtain airbag will not active.

    no airbag sensors, but seat belt tensioners -or how do you call them?- and active headrests;
    there is only one side curtain airbag that covers the whole side

    The 'airbag light' also illuminates if something is wrong with the belt tensioners;

    Control indicator v for belt tensioners
    The belt tensioners are electronically
    monitored together with the airbag
    systems and the operation thereof is
    indicated on the instrument panel by the
    control indicators v. When the ignition is
    switched on, the control indicators
    illuminate for ap prox. 4 seconds. If they do
    not illuminate, or they do not go off within
    4 seconds, or illuminate whilst driving, there
    is a fault in the belt tensioner system or the
    airbag systems – see page 107.

    I thought the belt tensioners and active headrests were for the front seats only? Unless the Signum has them fitted, but the Verta doesn't to the rears?
