I ordered a set from Stuffville on 15th January, they still haven't arrived! Contacted them a couple of days ago and they are resending the order.

Fit yourself proper HID's mate. Check out the how 2. After initial teething problems, it's sussed, and with GG's help you'll be fine. Just a simple plug and play

I have done he HID fit and they are absolutely incredible!! It's impossible to describe how good they are, you have to see them

If it's too expensive for you then the best Halogens on the market are PIAAs. I've used them before I had HIDs and they are pretty good, although nowhere even remotely near trues HID Xenons.

If you go for the bulbs go for the PIAA extreme whites. They are road legal and do give out a crisp whitish light with a very slight blue tinge. The Plasma range are bluer, but not road legal. The light output is cack and you will get pulled with them on.

Also bear in mind you'll be changing them annually as they take Halogen bulbs to the extreme and as such they don't last very long at all before they burn out.

PIAAs are expensive (about 70 quid a pair) but they are far superior to other halogens in my opinion, and Ive tried all sorts.

If you're gonna spnd 70 quid though, another 70 gets you the real thing

    Hi mate,

Let us know how you get on please.

I've looked at doing mine but so far have not been convinced that the results are worth it.

    Cheers,

    Ian

As Matty says hids are excellent. I've tried all the uprated bulbs and the hid look ones and they are ****e compared to hids. We were the guinea pigs for them so have had all the hassle which seems to be ironed out now.

I thought that they were H4s ?? I cant find anything in the handbook what tells you which type bulb they are...typical !!!

Once again ta for the advice...cheers, Bob.

Blue tinted bulbs look like you can't afford the real thing - so VERY ****. The light output is very poor and the glare is considerable, dazzling other road users and yourself in poor weather.

Get some osram silverstars, which are the best available, or go the whole hog and get an HID conversion, or buy a Gsi and be done with it!
