Window Tints

Im seriously considering tinting my windows very soon as a friend will do it for free and all i have to do is buy the film. I want to know what % tints people had on their cars and also peoples opinions on what i should go for. Pics are much appriciated! Also i wanted to know if i would get away with a light tint on the front side windows, of corse im not going to get it done as that would be illegal but was just interested...

My last vec c had tints all round. See pic of it below. Not sure how legal they were hence the reason my present car is tint free right now. Looking to get the back ones done dark though.

Now thats just made things even worse But i like very much!! Ok now should i go back:front medium:light or dark:medium???? Of corse im not actually getting the fronts done
